LOOKING BACK AT THE WEEKEND: Polak was there when Anderlecht won, Rosicky hasn‘t played again

Another League victory has Brussel’s  Anderlecht, when in his jersey has played the entire match Czech midfielder Jan Polak. His team, because of the win 2-0 with Lutych, kept six-point lead in the Jupiler League, therefore the second Genk has still one game to the good.

Arsenal won 3-0 with Wigan at home, but the Czech captain Tomas Rosicky wasn’t there again. He is still recovering from virus and therefore he cannot help his team on the football field. But they still got to the second place in the Premier League in front of  Manchester City, who has played one more game. They are second just behind leaders United.

On the other hand, the midfielder Michal Svec was in the match when his team Heereveen lost 1:3 with Den Haag. The defeat was so painful because Heerenveen fights with this team for the Cup position.

Another defeat at World Cup Match suffered Sparta, when they have lost with Zenit St Petersburg 3-0. The players were still tired from fitness training in Spindleruv Mlyn. Executive champion of Czech League will play with Ukraine's Shakhtar Donetsk for the front position.

Poor performance had in the French Cup Bordeaux, with Jaroslav Plasil, when they unexpectedly lost 0-1 with second league Angers. Czech player has played the entire match when he received in the 41st minute a yellow card.
